I recently had been to New Zealand, was visiting family. I was completely blown up by the scenic beauty. No place in New Zealand is far from the Ocean. Stayed for most of the part in Wellington. The whole area is like braided with valleys, ocean and mountains. New Zealand is sure not a very big country. Wellington, although the capital is quite peaceful and free from traffic or pollution. The people there are quite laid back and are enjoying their lives. The City Centre is truly the heart of the City, with the Lambton quay having the waterfront, the Cable Car, the Maori Museum. I could see all the efforts to preserve and boost the Natives' culture among the people. New Zealanders are one sports loving community.
I love New Zealand! The people are wonderful and so hospitable! The topography is fantastic! Shopping is not bad either; especially if you are looking for leather jackets! The scenery is so beautiful and you can get lost in the forest and not worry about poisonous snakes or insects! Super gorgeous country!
I found Wellington a nice city with good sopping and friendly people. A little cold and always windy.
The population of Wellington is around 400,000 people. There are two big universities that named Massey and Victoria.
New Zealand is a beautiful country full of rich rolling hills and plentiful nature. It has a population of an estimated 4.9 million. Its most notably known for its geographic isolation, 2000 km from Australia across the Tasman Sea. The population is mostly of European descent, with the indigenous Māori being the largest minority. Much of contemporary New Zealand culture is derived from British roots. It also includes significant influences from American, Australian and Māori cultures, along with those of other European cultures and – more recently – non-Māori Polynesian and Asian cultures.
