NIGERIA

I was born there, enjoyed my life there with my parents as they used to work there.I did my schooling in Lebanon, but when older went back there, to enjoy the simple life. When I got married I went back to live in the North for another seventeen years with my husband, raised my children. The Nigerians are great, once they get to know you they are great.Life now has changed over there, yes too much traffic, more crowded than before. But it is okay, every where life is expanding.

Hi I went to Nigeria 3 times in my life. I married a man from there only to find out that he married me just to enter this country. Nigeria was very big and it was nice seeing so many blacks working and trying to make a living. Traveling is hard but make sure that you do have money to bail yourself out of trouble. they is traffic stops to check your Id and sometimes money passes hands. Also the highway is very busy with cars, vans and a lot of people selling and begging for money. I also had children coming up to the car asking for money because they were homeless. the lights go out very frequently and you don't know why and when their will come back on. Also the water in the house went out for a while. the people is very nice and helpful. And I did see some traffic lights. I don't think that I will visit it again. You have to been very careful of who you trust there and because of my experience dealing with the Igbo tribe I don't want to go back.

We all make mistakes

Going from chaotic place like Delhi, I felt that i had my eyes open when I chose consultancy in Lagos. bad decision. The airport was the beginning of never ending bribes one has to pay. Paid $50 for not having anything to declare! Sweaty, crowded (to someone from India) and unsafe. One wonders which wallet in this poor country pays for all the swanky and ultra expensive cars come. Not hard to know: the poor pay the powerful so these cars can be purchased. My Company allowed me to keep 100000 Niaras on TV shelf so that in case a robber arrives u can cut resistance!
