Wonderful Kuching  by Jaafar    15th Nov 08
A great moment in Kuching. A lot of interested places to visit. See your own all types of ethnic houses there. Nice for shopping too especially for vase. Good scenery at night near the river. I hope I will be there again soon

Kuching city~  by Chong    22nd Oct 08
The place that I found...I still love the most!! People around all really kind, generous, people friendly, not materialistic and competitive. Kuching is the largest city in the Sarawak state and has been upgraded to be a major city on the 1st of August 1988. Each year this time people will celebrate Kuching Festival. Matang Wildlife Center, the best place to see orang utan. Jong's Crocodile Farm, a resting place for the infamous crocodile. Bako offers visitor an excellent introduction to the rain forest of Borneo. Kuching Laksa (a spicy curry soup base served with rice vermicelli) and Tomato Mee (crispy noodles served with tomato sauce, vegetables, and meat) are the most famous hawker dishes served. Kuching is an excellent place to buy Borneo arts, crafts and curios. Just come to visit Kuching!!!

My Hometown  by Sandra    10th Oct 08
Kuching is the place to sample "killer-tasting" Kuching laksa and the deceptively simple kolo mee. If you don't already know these two dishes, once you are in Kuching, you will be hooked for life. Kuching is a food galore for the most picky eaters, and other famous dishes of Sarawak that you can sample here is the Kuih Lapis Sarawak and sio bee. If you want outdoor adventure, head to bako National Park to savor the trekking trails and meet rare species of flora and fauna, some unique only to Sarawak. The beaches dotting Kuching's coastline also offer quiet and serene beaches, perfect for that escapade!
