Macau is small. That is an inescapable fact. Made up of a peninsula and two islands, the area covered by the territory is a mere 250 hectares (5800 acres). So do not blink, or you might miss something!

Macau's three islands were originally separate, there is now a two and a half-kilometer (one and a half-mile) long bridge and highway to link the three regions together. ... more info

Viva Macau!!!  by Colleen    10th Sep 09
They call it the 'Las Vegas' of the East, but there was more to this city than just casinos. If one is also into Baroque style architecture, churches and both Chinese and Portugese style cuisine, this city is worth checking out. And one must try the Pearl tea when there are there.

Food  by Benard    4th Apr 09
There are many places to eat but to find great food, you need to go out more. For one, if you like to eat rice, be sure to frequent some of the small Chinese restaurants, found by the side lanes of Senado Square. Here you can have it fried, served with pork, chicken, beef or duck. If you are into more Macanese fair, then I suggest you go down to those like Solmar which is located in downtown CDB. Great African chicken and Solmar's own specially prepared prawns. For dessert, there are many little cafes that serve Macanese Milk Curd.

Macau is the tiny dot you see in the map between Hong Kong and some islands around China. It is now commonly known as Capital Casino City of the World. Shame but really Macau got plenty to offer rather than just casinos. Food here are unforgettable taste, Panorama, sight seeing and field tripping are just memory you would love & can't wait to share! So come and visit Macau :)

the grandeur of mavau  by Melody    11th Jul 08
I have visited Mavau 3 times already. The first one was in1999. My daughter used to work in Hong Kong in a cable tv station. So I went to Macau then. When I visited it last 2007m there was great difference. Then I visited it again this may 2008. I am terribly amazed by the grand casinos. The Grand Lisboa, the Wynn hotel and most especially the Venetian. I enjoyed so much the buffet dinner at the Macau tower. It is so exciting to see people do the skywalk and the bungee jump. Good food. Clean and great culture.
