KL- In short if you are a local, well nothing to shout about but if you happen to be a foreigner, its better that most of the countries I have visited. Although I'm a Malaysian I must say that we have a beautiful country, relatively safe and most of all we have almost everything except for natural disasters.
The places to visit while in Kuala Lumpur:
The Petronas Twin Towers
The Telecoms Towers
Shopping in KLCC, Bukit Bintang
Bangsar - Night Spots
Hartamas - Night Spots
Definitely cheaper and more interesting than Singapore
We were at KL Chinese New Year 2008 which was a wrong move. Everything is expensive and crowded. We stayed at the Hilton Hotel which is a really, really nice hotel. The staff are all very nice. We went to see the Petronas tower which is really awesome... jawdropping. Next we went to Genting, the park should be okay but there are so many people we didn't even have enough space to take pictures because the people would walk right in front of you. The Genting snow world is a little disappointing specially the staff in charge of the slide. We complained him because of his lack of concern for the safety of the riders. He would literally kick the tube into the slide even if the person is still standing which would cause the person to fall down on their asses while that sick man laughs his heart out. We told him that but he just laughed and annoyed us more. It is really unacceptable.
Well i am certain Malaysia is a beautiful place but i did not quite like it
Yes the people are friendly
but
Shopping is expensive
Hotels are comparatively expensive
Food is a problem
And beached are not prestige
Malaysia is a very cool place to visit... Its very colorful.. can enjoy like crazy over there... and its one of my favorite place on earth.... the people over there are very friendly and helpful...
