Malta  by Ash    20th May 09
Stayed at two different hotels there the Westin Dragonarra and the Kempinski both on different islands. A place worth visiting for a short break maybe 3-4 days after that it really does not have that much to offer. Its a lovely island with some great historic past ...no, don't expect any great beaches there the coastline is natural.......a place worth a visit is the blue grotto......not a great destination for shopping or foodies........but if you are there and want to try real good Maltese rabbit or quail then visit La Ingles that's a very small restaurant but the food is amazing.

Malta  by William    15th Nov 08
I visited Malta in Sept 08 on business and I was very impressed. What a great small island tucked away in the Mediterranean. The weather is great, friendly people who all speak fluent English, lots of culture & history, great nightlife. What more can you ask for! If you don't enjoy Malta you shouldn't go on holiday. Just a pity I was only there a short time.

Valetta  by Robert    23rd Jul 08
I am not keen on lengthy island stays but Malta was fabulous for a couple nights; great quality of life and rich history, a nice holiday getaway. A nice stopover with alcoholic drinks after 9 days in 'dry' Libya

my opinion  by Mauravi    16th Jul 08
It is a beautiful piece of land in the middle of the sea. Valleta is a great tourist spot to visit. People are friendly. Food is good. Climate is pleasant. It is crowded at places but still one does not feel uncomfortable. My hubby is in the merchant navy so we use to get down from ship n go to see around everyday.
