Cambodia  by Tim    9th Sep 09
Crossing the border overland from Thailand into Cambodia is an experiencei in its self.... at times very frustrating, nevertheless a valuable insight into the daily lives of the Cambodian people. The horrors of genocide remain fresh in the hearts and minds of the people who inhabit this fascinating but deeply wounded country. As I travelled through Cambodia I was exposed to many contrasting images .... the stunning Angkor ruins, the killing fields, S21, drugs, friendly happy people, some very dangerous people, a country trying to find its way forward but haunted by its past .... a sort of microcosm of the best and worst traits of mankind. I loved my Cambodian experience and would recommend it to anyone with a keen adventurous spirit.

An Amazing Country To Visit  by Keng Hock    8th Mar 09
I traveled to this amazing country in mid 2008, visited its capital Phnom Penh and other cities/historical sites. It's certainly an enjoyable trip , meeting many friendly people, scenic country sites, tourist destinations including Anglor Wat, Killing Field/school , etc. My friends also had a great shopping time especially buying the gem stones which would be of superior quality and cheap ( even compare to Myanmar's prices ). We also met many others who just purposely went to buy back gem stones ! Will travel there again in future !

One of the country under my list, place to go, especially when you are talking about the Khmer Rouge, Angkor Wat etc. I did go to Angkor Wat but because of the time limit, unable to go the killing field.

Hotel review  by Yee Le    8th Jul 08
17-19 June - I stayed in Sunway Hotel. A 4-star hotel. No good restaurant in Hotel. Paid Internet, USD15/24hrs. Generally, staff in hotel can speak English. Impression so-so 26 to 29 June - I stayed in Phnom Penh Hotel. A 5-star hotel. No good impression. I had to shift 3 times because of some faults. Many restaurants in hotel. Food is better than outside.
