Cagliari June 2009  by Jeanine    1st Jul 09
I had looked at photos and researched the area but really, what you find online does entirely do this city justice. Despite being the capital of the island, you don't feel like you are in a busy city. It has small chilled streets, a laid back atmosphere, lots of people, great weather, sea and mountains, and old town and gorgeous colour. I was more than pleased and can't wait to go back some day. I highly recommend staying at Centro Storico B and B in Via Manno. It turned out to be self catering studio apartments with breakfast supplied. The owner was fantastic, funny and charming and welcoming. I have never seen anyone go to such lengths to greet you and make you feel welcome and give you advice for the city. I will add photos when I get them off my camera.....any questions please feel free to ask Jeanine
