People were cool. They MUST have the opportunity to live their lives te way they want to. Want to see what it will be like in about 15-20 years. They can only go up from here.

Too many times here, I have no problems with the locals, the surroundings, or the country, but I really cannot lie and tell you it has been a cake walk. Great experiences here in Iraq, have met so many people that I have found to be friends. Will take much work to get this country back on its feet, but I will definitely return to visit the friends I have made here once the violence is finished. Have no problems with the place, but really hate being away from my family so much.

Deployed here for a second time. Not a bad country. Locals are very friendly and helpful, eager to make friends with soldiers and americans. Wish I wasnt a female at times to gain more respect and be able to speak to them about there experiances. But none the less it was a great experiance
