If you like to have some fun than Kuta is a Must see place and should be on your list.Surfer,shopper,walker and fun seeker are all in these area.But if you highly in culture than you should avoid Kuta.Countless of bars,restaurants,hotels,and night clubs made Kuta very crowded and you even can called beautiful depend on the way you see them.

Kuta has changed for this past 5 years.... I love it more when I went to this place like 10 years ago, where the atmosphere is more friendlier (from the local natives). Now it just like seeing another wannabe foreign places... such a bas karma... But... many still as beautifull as it use to be... Love Bali in general... but kuta... hhmmm not so sure anymore

There is much dumped in Kuta, mostly by snooty pseudo-culturally sensitive types. Kuta is pretty raw and to the point. It is also quite congested with people who are not up themselves! If you are wanting fun and a rage this is really the place to go. It you want high culture - avoid Kuta like the plague. While it all began with at Kuta with beach and culture, both are now less central to the Kuta of today. Besides there is plent of both elsewhere around Bali. But there is only 1 Kuta. Love it or hate it - it don't care. Its all Kuta!

Im afraid of heights so you can imagine how i was feeling about trying out parasailing. Scared...>>The run along the beach before i felt myself floating away was increditable. But what a feeling to fly free as a bird with a soft breeze carrying me along, til i had to come on down to earth with a thump. Mind you tried it again as the feeling was just to great. Nusa for water sports is cool.
