We came to Banda Aceh after tsunami, helping people to find their normal life after tsunami is the first priority. and help them to be back to their place before tsunami it's very difficult. That's why we build them houses for their lives. Wherever we went to the tsunami location we found the place so beautiful. because the people lived along the beach.
I saw to the north of Banda Aceh, there is a hill called Bukit Soeharto, the scenery so beautiful. We can see the beautiful see between the hill.

The city lost over one quarter of its population and for the previous 20 or so years the population was largely isolated from the world because a long running insurgency. Both developments have left a negative impression on the social fabric and issues like socio-economic and cultural development. After the tsunami the Government opened the doors and suddenly the people started to see very different human beings enter their communities! The tsunami also brought about a new search for peace, which has so far help firm. The inflow of resources and visitors (from elsewhere in Indonesia and the world) has encouraged the opening of 4 new and good hotels. Tourists would remain a curiosity here, although the locals are now used to looking at foreigners in non-conservative Islamic dress. The coffee is great and if you can see the key local dance called Saman - very exciting - knocks Balinese dancing for six!
