ERODE its famous for agriculture and textile field, specially textiles include everything (towel, lunge, bedspreads, pillow covers, knitting fabrics, night wears, shirts, pants, kerchiefs,etc...) traveling facility also good here to connect all the main cities throw road and rail route.

Erode near by villages are mostly depend on agricultural.people who are all from erode well and good now.When we look over view of ERODE all the facility are there Hospitals,Colleges,Best Schools,Roads,BUS,Railway station every think was there. Erode major business depend on Textiles,Agricultur and more.. there is one negative think is no AIRPORT. We are all looking for that soon. According to my knowledge most people in erode are Entrepreneur.

Erode was under the regime of local Gangakulam kings forming indegenous Chera kings and Western Ganga Dynasty. After a short rule of Cholas with Dharapuram as their Headquarters, Muslims (Modeen Sulthans) took over the rule after which Nayaks of Madurai ruled. Then Hyder Ali and Tippu Sultan with occasionally rebelling polygar Dheeran Chinnamalai Gounder had their sway. In 1799, when Tippu fell to the British, British East India Company took over the administration after hanging Chinnamalai by deceit.

It is one of the beautiful townships in Tamilnadu with green fields, farming, milk diary, textiles. It is a big business center. Well connected by rail, road services from all over Tamilnadu. Local temples, amusement parks and climate are fine here.

My trip was to erode like nothing but going to hell!!!!!!!! because it was like that only.... very hot!!!!!!!! I couldnt find it nice... but its a good place for business.. wanna visit? go ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
