San PAulo D ARgon,Bergamo  by Vivian    16th Aug 09
I'm presently living at San Paulo D Argon, Bergamo Italy. The moment I set my foot in this place I immediately fell in love.I love the people, the culture, and the convenience of the community. The shops, schools, banks, post office are just walking distance. The shopping malls are terrific and enjoyed the discounted sales.! I visited Como lake but i find more interesting the Lake of Lagos at Sarnico! Beautiful and classy the same time. The place is not congested of tourist but often Italians!! Indeed, Italy is a beautiful place and the people are so warm and kind! I love it here!

Pisa, Italy  by Alma    15th Feb 09
Did a three week trip to Italy, and I thought that Pisa would be so run-of-the-mill cheesy and touristy. You know, to my surprise, I loved it. Why? Because in general, there's always so much to see in your big cities. Your brain is on overload. When you get to Pisa...that's it...it's just the church, the Baptistery, and the Leaning Tower itself. What a beautiful sight...all white and on a vast lawn of green. I just didn't feel overloaded, and I could concentrate on the the three edifices there and take it all in. I was much more impressed than I thought I'd be. To this day, it's still one of the highlights of my trip there.

A Piece of Me in Naples  by Gerry    4th Jan 09
a 17-day visit to the City of Naples, the old capital of Italy... with a 3-day side trip to the Island of Capri. In Naples, I was always walking or taking the bus because I wanted to get to know the city and it's people intimately. I went to Pompeii for an afternoon with my camera and took beautiful memories home. Generally I went around using the bus, to nearby market places, to castles, landmarks... in the evenings I went out and drank Italian beer, savored Italian wine, enjoyed their food, met wonderful people, made friends, took pictures, and fell in love.

Naples, Italy  by Dawna    9th Nov 08
As my sister says you either love it or hate it. Naples is full of interesting places and is centrally located in my opinion. I basically stayed and went to places within 2 hours. Pompeii, The Amalfi coast (beautiful yet scary drive), Rome and some places I wanted to go to but could not due to time constraints or avaliablity of someone to go with (such as Capri, Procita and Iscia). I really enjoyed my time there even when I did not go from my sister's home. She lives near Cuma and the Arco Felice. I even drove down from Rome back to Naples due to getting stuck in Italy to the returning to standard time a week earlier than the USA. I have not have a more pleasurable drive in my life. I drove on the Autostrada and the only issue is you really need Euro or you can get stuck at the toll which cost 11 euro from Rome to Naples. I will write more on my trip to Italy in the future of the places I went while there.
