Out of this world  by Marsha    25th Jan 09
I visited Iceland in August and September 2007 and it was the most amazing traveling experience of my life. As a female traveling solo, I never once feared for my safety. The people were incredibly nice, the architecture was beautiful, the fashion was quirky, the food sublime, and the landscape stunning. There's so much to see and do, and there's never a dull moment. Go if you get the chance, you won't regret it.

the best  by Yayoi    22nd Jun 08
The best place I have been. Compact city, simply designed houses, fashionable lady's not influenced by the big trend. The most far place from Japan, but the best place for me.

Awsome  by Mike    27th Apr 08
I did some of the best partying there than I'd had in a long time. I was lucking enough to have a job that required me to see all the island...all four corners and was blown away by the diversity of such a small country. There was alway one thing in common no matter where I went though...EVERYONE is nice. As soon as you understand their culture and their way of life and respect it, you'll have no problems visiting this country. Staring is polite, walking through a group of people talking WITHOUT saying excuse me is polite, and don't be shy about trying out any Icelandic that you learn while being there because they love trying out their English on Americans...just be nice enough to greet them in Icelandic first. You would want the same. Oh ya, and forget your personal bubble while you're there. They are a close nit country and they aren't bothered in the least with standing very close to you. Don't let it bother you, just go with the flow.

Iceland is Great  by Dianna    1st Apr 08
Iceland is a wonderful country. I loved it. Yes, it is cold but beautiful. I lived there for two years. The clubs are something else. Booze is flowing, everyone is dancing, and the women are all tall, blonde, and blue. It is very expensive and before I left, a 3-piece KFC meal was $21. I bought 3 beautiful sheep skins. I would go back again.
