Spring tirp to Guatemala  by Scott    20th Aug 08
Traveled with wife and friends to Eastern region of the country, Lake Isabal, Rio Duce. Always beautiful, that time of year is the transition period from dry to wet season, so the weather hot and sticky with not much of a breeze. Still had a great time! Be back at the end of summer...

Meeting of all indigenous people for the implementation of the UN Declaration of Indigenous Rights. Great beautiful place of people that were hospitable, friendly and loving people. It hard leaving there. It is a developing country that shows honor and pride in their Mayan nationality.
