Gibraltar is a great place to make a short visit. It has the beautiful Rock and the seas are also a great sight to see. But you cannot do much here but for spend a few days.
I went to Gib a few months ago - just to see the apes - and really enjoyed it. One good tip for those of you who are thinking of going, do not bring plastic bags to the ape den. Whatever you have in it, you will never see again... my family and I got robbed by an ape and we had no water left until we got down the rock and back to the city.
Went here on a day trip. The scenery was superb, the monkeys stole a lady's bag as she had forgotten she had a packet of crisps in it. Them monkey then ate all the crisps. The bus went up the mountain close to the edge the view was unbelievable.
I enjoyed my visit to Gibraltar, no matter what people may think and the reports they have put down ,
I was on holiday in Spain with my family and tried to visit every where, I was interested in Gibraltar because my dad was posted there when he was in the Army. I got to say I enjoyed the visit to the rock, the monkeys, the history, even the weather, it was just like been at home in England , sorry we was in England, lol
Great place to go now that the Border is open it is even better. The Police look like the Uk police and the money is the same so for some of you no exchange problems. Catalan bay is a great bay to relax on looking up at the water catchment is pretty impressive a trip into the Rock as well is fantastic and amazing what they have done to the insides. you have the apes and St. Michael's cave all pretty impressive. There is plenty to see and do there so if its a day trip or longer Gib has the lot.
