I had a blast, beautiful weather (I think I got lucky for this early in the year), people were very nice even though I speak no Finnish, lots of good food and loved the sauna!! Espoo is a bit boring, but Helsinki is fantastic!

When I first went on my Fin-Swe tour I thought Helsinki would be Stockholm's poor relation. How wrong I was! A clean, safe and vibrant city, Helsinki is great. Greater Helsinki is perhaps, the only place in Finland that feels like a big city. But, the people have the attitude of towns folk and are only too happy to help. I went in winter time, but I hope to return in the summer, Finland's capital really won me over with a combination of good food, good sport, good people, easy transportation, nice accommodation with lots to see and do. KITOS HELSINKI for a great few days holiday.

Took a cruise ship from Stockholm to Finland to take a bus trip to St. Petersburgh, Russia. Beautiful blooming flowers and fresh cherries, peaches, strawberries ets at the market. Hot sunny sea side.

Helsinki is very neat and clean city, I will say one of the cleanest in Europe...Country of lakes, very beautiful, worth having a lake cruse...

The hot place to be with best night life in Scandinavia and nicest people around Baltic sea. You have all near by and access easy waling or with trams and local transports. If you love sea and islands you have one of the world rarest sights to see at Suomenlinna. Big Tivoli and zoo to visit among other things to do all day and night.
