i stayed at holiday inn, heidelberg that time. too bad it's too far from the crowd. me and friends were bored to stay at the hotel so we got uptown. unguided and without a map. nothing. we think we just wanted to have fun. after few talks with locals, which were very hard cos they're not really good speaking english, we had the right bus and headed to town. unfortunately, it's already 8pm and almost all shops closed but the supermarket. plus, it was the last bus. then we tried the train to get back by asking couple of students but they didn't even know the location of our hotel. sigh.. went round and round to find the information, finally we found the bus number 33 which stopped near the hotel. thanks God! kinda worried but fun:)
I lived in Germany for almost 5 years and I loved it. I hated coming back home, but unfortunately the Air Force had other plans for us. My husband is now trying to get a job with the DOD so we can go back. The people are so extremely loving, nice and polite. The country itself is AMAZINGLY beautiful and the food....nothing like it, its amazing.
I love Germany, it is lovely country I visited Germany 2 times. I like people here, they are nice and intelligent, educated, friendly. I had lovely month stay there I wish that I can visited again.
Germany is very nice! We were in Pupenburg for awhile and they have a small town where you can buy grocery and stuff you need...the disco there are a bit of a drug...we were not allowed to come in because we were not Germans or was not white:-) To heck with that! Then we went to Hamburg...it was nice also better than Papen, loved the right light district:-)
