Praha  by Jim    10th Jan 09
I love this city. I have been twice and will probably visit again. The architecture is beautiful and there are wonderful places to eat all over the city. I had one of the best meals of my life at a small cafe just across the Charles Bridge before you enter the old town. You cross the bridge and walk down some stairs to a pedestrian plaza. At the end of the plaza is a small cafe serving a pork loin stuffed with ham and blue cheese. It was server with wild rice and French cut green beans; it is worth making another trip just to eat there again.

Prague - Jewish heritage  by Giora    5th Nov 08
Prague Old Town is one of the places you feel that past is still very much relevant. There are 6 synagogues and the oldest Jewish graveyard in Europe. I have visited the Pinkas Synagogue which is a memorial to the Jews of Bohemia and Moravia murdered by the Nazis. It is very emotionally to go over the 80,000 names inscribed on the walls. The problem with the graveyard is that most graves are not in the best condition. In the Spanish Synagogue (very nice building) has an exhibition devoted to the history of the Czech and Moravian Jews from the 18th century to present day.

City of Castle and Bridge  by Mac    5th Apr 08
The city centre has numerous unique towers and bridges especially Prague Astronomical Clock in old town square, and Charles Bridge. Beside that, there is Prague Castle that you must visit. The Prague Castle is the largest in the world. Inside the Prague Castle, you must visit St. Vitus Cathedral. The Cathedral is the most beautiful ever I see in my Europe trip. Others interesting place inside the castle is too expensive for budget visiting like me. Beer is relatively cheaper in Prague or whole Czech Republic. Bohemian crystal for souvenir can be purchased in the shops along the street of old town.

I love this city!!  by Patricia    4th Mar 08
I cant say enough good things about this city. I was there many times during my stay in Germany it was my favorite city. Lots of old buildings and the Charles bridge is breath taking. I love the food the clothes the night life. I wear glasses and i think i bought about 20 pairs while i was there. I just loved downtown, watching the people and all the history of the city. I attended my first and only opera there, that was an experience within itself. One of the places we stayed was the Hotel International. At the time it was a hotel where all the employees where in training to work at other hotels in the city. It was so much fun watching everyone learn their jobs. From the top of the hotel you could see the whole city, it was breathtaking. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it and hope to one day be able to go back.
