Ayia Napa no longer relies just on the clubbers for tourism. These days it also caters for families and more mature people too. There are some magnificent beaches with my personal favourite being Macronossis and the harbour beach. Forget Nissi in the height of summer unless you love crowds. For eating I'd recommend Los Bandidos and Fiji. For nightlife head to the Square.

Whilst on holiday in Ayia Napa, on a night out a group of us from our hotel went to this karaoke bar, i think this is how its spelt although my memory is hazy of that trip. It was so much fun, the bar staff were great and the drinks were amazing. People sang their hearts out and danced and laughed so much, it was such an amazing night because of the atmosphere that the bar created. It was great because it opened out onto the street. Everyone got completely drunk and attempted to walk back to the hotel. Needless to say, when i go back to ayia napa i will be going back to this bar.
