If not going by air,it'll be a very hard journey to get there because Lijiang locates in the mountains of Southwest China,where the road transportation is very poor.Once get there,you'll find it just like a small city.But when you walk into the old towm,you'll have a very different feeling.But I call it "Market" because many tourists go there and buy many things.Also,Lijiang is famous for its nightlife.There are many bars along the river. Now Lijiang is becooming more and more commercial,and many local people have moved out. The impression on me: crowded.
