I'm living in Cuba since i was child, and it's a wonderful place to do anything... beaches, hotels, interesting places, and a very rich history.
now, I'm living in santiago de cuba (tres choud), but studying informatics in Havana.
i recommend everyone visit it, and take note about it.
I went to Cuba last October, people and beaches are great, but if you travel with U.S. $, they will automatically deduct 0.25 $( per each $), they think they're in Europe !!! ( I think the government imposes that "surcharge" to finance Fidel's Medical bill).- If you want your money worth you are better off in Dominican Republic, they have similar activities, better guaranties for your security, you don't have to "hide" from the undercover cops if you wanna have fun with the locals around the "Malecon"...
cuba is one of the most beautiful country it has alot of places where you can go you check every thing from great stores to wonderful nature the prices are very low and you can do alot of sport there is a lot of events you can see the food just great and the wonderful
This was an awesome trip couldn't complain about a thing except for the resort food and that because of my look I almost got arrested three times for being a Cuban in a tourist area. Still it was an awesome trip I recommend to everyone and anyone!
