Crna Gora - Montenegro by Bill by

I had an opportunity to live in Montenegro for two months. My main base was in Pljevlija but I traveled and lived in Podgorica, Budva, Nicsic, and Zabliak. The areas in the Dormitor Mountains are a great ski holiday resort location. In the summertime, the Dormitor mountains offer absolute beauty. On the Adriatic is the coastal town of Budva. You can take a walk through old town and visit one of its museums to learn about the history of this town. With its sandy beaches , cafes and restaurants, you can meet people from around the world. And of course there is the capital city of Podgorica, which is full of sights and interesting places to visit. At night there is an abundance of activities to either eat, drink, dance, or just sit at an outdoor cafe and watch the people. There is plenty to see. Good luck in planning your trip to Montenegro. I had a chance to travel to one of the most uncommon places that an Indian can imagine to travel - Montenegro. The country of Montenegro became famous after it being mentioned in the last James Bond movie - Casino Royale. Interestingly, according to the locals the movie was never shot there though I am not sure about the credentials of it. Montenegro or Crna Gora as it is called now got separated from Serbia a few years back. The country as a whole is a very beautiful one, the most important features being its beautiful coast line, the beaches and its amazing mountains. The country has 2 airports, one in the capital of Podgorica and the other airport is in Tivat which is more nearer to the beaches. The country is flanked on its coast by the beautiful and green Adriatic Sea which would make anybody fall in love with it. The most famous of its beaches is the Budva beach which is long and has many beautiful and small beach restaurants and clubs.
