La Fortuna

Went to Costa Rica to La Fortuna, where the imposing Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica's most active, continues to spew molten rock and smoke from its crater a few times everyday, lunch at Choza del Laurel w/c traditional Costa Rican food cooked over wood stoves, enjoyed a road to the beautiful La Fortuna waterfall.

This is a wonderful place to visit. There are a lot of activities to choose from. The scenery is awesome, specially the volcanoes. It was totally much more than what I expected.

Wonderful place to visit...

Wonderful place to visit... If I had to give it a name it would be "the country of biodiversity and tropical wildlife". Observe a tremendous wildlife: fauna, flora, volcanoes… Walking, hiking, getting out of the beaten tracks, meet the people and an authentic country. Costa Rica is all of this together. Have fun !!!

My Favorite Town

Dominica is by far the best town I had experienced down in Costa Rica, nothing compares. If your there, try surfing and scuba diving. Drinking is best from Tuesday till Thursday at the MaraCatu (cant remember how it is spelt), Friday at the San Clemente and Saturday at the RocaVerde, try staying the night at Antorches or upgrade to Que Nival (Taylor the owner is a cool chick).
