The city sits in a valley , is fairly modern, runing North/South is the Metro train, plenty of private buses to get you around also. Best times to visit this city is Christmas time when they have the lights up ( over a million lights every year) or late July early August they have a flower festival. but really anytime of year is great, you can do a day trip to Santa Fe de Antioquia, it is about a hour travel west of Medellin, , there you can see some of the old spanish style buildings. You will find many parks and churches in the barrios. One of my Favorite is in the church Santa Barbara in Envigado, in the barrio of the same name.

I invite you to come to a little island in Colombia that is called San Andres. The most beautiful and peaceful place in the earth. Come and visit! You'll like it!!!

I loved it, I love going back home. I should be going AGAIN! This August,2008. I love the culture the people the environment. STRESS-FREE! Can be a way of living, sad that not many Americans can say the same.
