I loved this town! is really small one and can't offer a lot to the real travelers but I simply loved it. Maybe because when I went there the weather was sunny and warm. The city center is a small one but clean and well organized. The views of Danube are great. The local are nice, maybe because 3-4 years ago 12 of their children died in a horrible bus-crash in Serbia. If you're interested in this story you can go to the local big cathedral which is in the city-centre and can see all these poor children's faces outside the church and maybe get in the church and pray for their souls. The prices are low and is a good 2-3 days trip. If you're into the archeology you can visit a small town outside Svishtov which is called NOVE - I haven't been there but heard from my teachers is a good sport for the interested people.
