I was in Vidin with my family and husband - is a small town in the North-West Bulgaria. Is on the border with Romania. There is a great castle to be visited with great views of Danube. If you wonder where to stay and eat I definitely recommend hotel Vidin - ask for a room with jacuzzi and you'll understand what's lux for low price! The city-center is a little bit "dead" but you can enjoy the peace and the silence.
