Belgium's population is quite high for its territory...But this town was TOO small for my expectations...People weren't really nice except the lady at the tourist office who was quite nice and knew what she's doing there. The prices of the properties are too high for the quality you get. There are couple of big supermarkets at the end of the town as well as SCANSHOP or Scandinavian shop with products from all the Scandinavian countries - lots of Scandinavian people working for the European commission are living in Waterloo so the Scandinavian community is highly concentrated there.
