The 'Ilha Formosa' located on Grote Pieterpotstraat 20 is an excellent restaurant! They are one of the very few vegetarian restaurants offering a full line of courses, minus the animal! Actually, aside for the other bars, and semi veggie places, they are the only one to visit. The restaurant is located underground, in a basement type setting. Old, stone brick walls surround you in this great atmosphere lit up with candles and mood lighting. Service is superb and top notch with excellent prices, not over charging. This is a must for any travelers in Antwerp!
