I visited Bhutan in 1999 December for 20 days. It is a beautiful country with rugged natural scenery and simple but proud people. I was bit surprised with their culture. e,g it is female dominant society...in the sense the bridegroom goes to stay with the bride and her family :). They are also very warm and hospitable people. I liked their simple food almost like in India. And also their games on the hillock which they play often like archery and knife throwing.

Bhutan is a nice place, cold and amazing. Though it is a nice place , i didn't like the place Bcuz, around 108,000 bhutanese people were forcefully evicted from the country. Many people r living in eastern part of Nepal as refugees . some r living in India As well. So when u enter the border of Bhutan don't speak anything against their system, don't smoke.

It is a very peaceful place. Captivating landscape and innocent people.

I love Bhutan more each time I visit.

Peaceful Beautiful U get the feeling things are good and all is still well with the world no matter what. This was my first solo trip, and thanks to my friends and IMTRAT had an absolutely good time there
