During the 3 month stay in 2007 I had a chance 2 see this country. Bahrian is slightly bigger than Singapore but a civilization that existed 5000 years ago. Dhow building, basket & clothe weaving pottery are still practiced. Modern skyscrapers rub shoulders with majestic looking mosques and other Islamic structures. Gigantic shopping malls and souqs in narrow lanes with shops are the unique blend of ancient and modern commercialization. The Causeway between Mainland and this Island has drawn a new era of economic activities with Saudi Arabia. The fine weather here facilitate tourist activities like, Swimming, game fishing, Scuba diving, Snorkeling and watter skiing and diving. Golf & Race course, Riding & Health clubs are around the country. It also base the American Navy in the Gulf region. It's the banking hub for the Gulf region. The people are very happy to receive tourists and immigrants. With all the amenities in this modern country come and experience it.

Bahrain is small Island but with a lot of activities. The people are helpful and polite. Very peaceful, specially the weather in November and December is very nice, it is mild. It is pretty well maintained and you can get variety of food. Clubs and bars are almost everywhere. Nice place to relax during holiday.

Bahrain... Not to forget ever! The island of golden smiles! My motherland the best place to be I just wish I could stay there forever. It is so peacefully and relaxing there!

small n nice and quiet country..a great place to holiday with lots of places to visit..also very famous is the f1 circuit the Bahrain international circuit..though the country is quite modern life is much slower than that in cities like Dubai or Abu Dhabi..
