... But would like to see more of, is Belgium. Reason being is that they make some of the world's finest chocolates (including those Guylian ones) and they make yummy chips with mayonnaise (chocolate and chips being two of my favorite foods, though not necessarily together). However, it was one of those countries I had stopped at (on July the 31st, 2004) on our way back to France from Holland (so we could get the boat back from Calais, France, to Dover, England). Again, another country I want to see so I could do it more justice.
I went to Oostende Belgium for the 4th of July. It was great weather and lots of great food choices. It was a little $$ but hey if you only go here once I'm sure its worth it. I expected the water to be cold but it was so nice. I would recommend this beach front area to anyone traveling through this beautiful little country.
In Brussels, I too had been to the Michael cathedral and it is indeed an amazing place to worship, with a marvelous choir singing as I go in, WOW, splendid experience.
I enjoyed a lot of chocolates from here, and was gifted to bring back some for my family down here.
Apart from the beauty of Brussels, there was a fight that I had witnessed and that too for a silly issue! Reminding me of the Carlos days!
Brussels the capital is worth visiting. u can see Manneken pis statue, St Michael cathedral, mammoth palace of justice, Atomium- structure of iron molecule enlarged 165billion times.
