Bendigo is a large town situated approx. one and a half hours from Melbournes busy city centre. The Bendigoians are always up for a chat, and everyone is very pleasant and friendly. I would strongly recommended a trip to Bendigo than A trip to 'Ballarat'.

Take the Vintage Talking Tram and check out the Tramway Museum, Central Deborah Gold Mine, Dai Gum San Wax Museum, Bendigo Pottery and Dawson's Cactus Farm

Bendigo is such a beautiful and rustic place. For me it's like a quiet place to retire. I vividly remember that it was very cold at that time, being winter. Love the museum and the lush scenery. I Love nature so being surrounded by mountains, trees and lakes relaxes and calms the soul : )
