Even for a kiwi people were very friendly and helpful. Public transport for people with disabilities was excellent, could use buses and trains. Would have loved to have stayed longer but unfortunately I was not able to handle the heat, I'll know next time to go June/July.

I reached here on 14 Nov and will stay here for a holiday till 30 Dec 08. The moment I stepped into Brisbane, the 1st thing that I saw and felt comfortable and being welcome is their manners ! People here are so polite, passionate with full respect to each other ! They are leading a kind of "stress free" life-style, relaxing and enjoying especially in the night time with functions such as gathering for BBQ, Casino, dancing, etc. Unlike in Singapore where we need maids to do the entire household chore! Here, you got to do all the errands on your own yet you still feel fulfilling ! I have never regretted making a choice to travel here for a holiday.

Brisbane is a nice place. hope to be there again. but things is as a Muslim it's so hard to get the Muslim halal food. I couldn't accept the Kebab and falafel all the ways. But overall Brisbane has lots of interesting and good spot of sight seeing compare to Perth, Darwin or Adelaide...

This is a most liveable city, in fact probably still better to love in that holiday in. Even so the place ha heaps to offer. Very casual and relaxed lifestyle and culture, yet fully efficient ans functional. Besides the obligatory casino, it has lots of interesting things and sights. Modern arts, museum, music complex on the site of Expo '88. Check out the arts market at the end of Queen St Sunday Mornings. The city is close to Gold Coast (for action), North coast (for rest) of the islands (for nature). Perfect weather most of the year - subtropical.

Brisbane, beautiful city, not too big and not that small , very multi cultural and easy to get around. night life is the bomb and beautiful scenery at Mt Cootha, Tambourine and even serene spots in the suburbs.
