I just love this place. Although I spent very little time there it was one of the coolest little towns I ever visited. The surfing culture was evident and everyone was so friendly. Love the little breakfast cafe's.

I visited Byron Bay last year and I must say I was disappointed. I'd remembered a vibrant, colorful counter culture community from my childhood, but instead was disillusioned by the commercialism of the place.
