Katoomba is the best. If you are ever coming to Australia make sure you go and see the three sisters in Katoomba its a sight you will never forget. Plus you never know if it will alwasy be there so my advice for you GO FOR IT

From Sydney to Katoomba it is only 100 km and you are in Blue Mountains, surprising is especially the first view when you walking on the street of Katoomba then street is ending suddenly and you see wide green valley this is Echo Point and Three Sisters nearby. There are nice cliff walks with views from up and other ones down along streams and falls, you can choose scenic railway or bus to see more. The scent of eucaliptus is fantastic. Before you go better check bushfires announcement.
