Sydney, a Friendly City  by Josie    2nd Mar 09
Sydney is a lovable place, which almost everyone would want to visit. When I had the chance, I wanted to experience it raw and thus, after a group tour to important locations, I opted a walk into Sydney. I found the people to be friendly and smiles to everyone, whatever the color of your skin is. You can ask a stranger for help and you will be directed to the shortest distance to your destination and even give recommendations to magnificent spots you must have missed. I find the city friendly to everyone, the people helpful and friendly and the weather is so lovable.

The city Sydney  by Javaria    26th Jan 09
Bursting with character, Sydney is a vibrant city with spectacular landmarks including the Harbour and its Harbour bridge, the Opera House, the historic Rocks area, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and popular Bondi Beach - one of the many fabulous beaches that Sydney is famous for.

I loved everything about Sydney - the people - the beaches - it was all awesome . We stayed on Bondi beach at Noahs Hostel - the city is only a bus ride away I can't recommend it enough - did not want to come home! Great for: Beaches, Hiking/Camping, History/Culture, Theatre/Music, Nightlife, Budget Travel, Family Holidays and extrem sports

The smaller places in Sydney  by Tahra    15th Oct 08
Sydney was amazing. Spent a month there exploring the city, from Darling Harbour with it's shopping and Chinese Gardens and the Aquarium to the Bondi Markets and beach to Coogee Beach and all around the bay. Gordon's Bay was an amazing place to go snorkeling. St. Mary's Cathedral was spectacular with all the architecture and the crypt down below. Found a little museum just down the road from St. Mary's, dedicated to a small piece of local history. The shopping was fantastic. Randwick was an awesome place to stay, with parks, and the racecourse near by, and best of all, it had the most amazing pizza place. Woy-Woy, about a 3 hour drive out of Sydney central had some amazing beaches, and a fantastic 4 story mall. Also the Blue Mountains were spectacular, even from a distance. A month in Sydney was not enough to explore it all.

Sydney the big brother  by Robert    9th Oct 08
Great City been there 6 times for business and pleasure. Lots to explore in and around the CBD and darling harbour. Sort of checked out the nightlife but would be curious to check out more in future trips.
