Harden - a small town in NSW  by Johnathan    20th Mar 09
Harden. There's not much to say about this little town. It's one of those little blips on the radar. If you find yourself traveling through it, you'll possibly stop for fuel, or for lunch. It's a couple of hours outside of Canberra, so it's quite accessible by car, and also has a train station where a train stops twice daily. Though why you would visit here is quite beyond me. In truth, there's a great little old book store. And when the wind blows right, there's some amazing sunsets to be had. The sort of sunset where the clouds fade into the golden glow that takes up 1/6th of the sky. This is caused by dust from the many many surrounding hills being flung high into the air. The first time I saw it was breathtaking. If you have friends or family there, or just want some place to relax that's not quite nowhere, then Harden could be a destination for you.

Our Sydney Trip  by Erica    10th Jun 08
The weather was lovely. We stayed at Darling Harbour area, and it was very accessible to almost everywhere.

A-League (Aus v. N.Z.).  by Phillip    27th Mar 08
I've been to New Lambton, to watch the Newcastle United Jets versus Wellington Phoenix FC game (round 9 of last years A-League association football (soccer) competition) in October. Just love EnergyAustralia Stadium, the jovial atmosphere of the local spectators there and the friendly locals. I love to go back to that stadium once again in not the so distant future.

Boring Buckanderra  by Colleen    15th Mar 08
The town itself mightn't have been a problem, but we (as a family) didn't think very much of the campground. We had to climb a hill to get to the toilet, and my Dad (when he was feeling lazy) ended up taking the car up to the toilet block (because he got sick of climbing the hill). What was in it's favour was the nearbyness to Yarongobilly Caves, Cooma and Adaminaby.

SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS  by Ellen    14th Mar 08
Im biased coz I live in the area most of the year when Im not travelling for work. This area is the best area to visit in New South Wales. It is even better to be living here. A definite five!
