Clearly defined in the popular tango — "Buenos Aires, la reina de la Plata" — Buenos Aires is the Silver Queen. Along the banks of the Río de la Plata, the city spreads out its eclectic culture of art, music and incomparable nightlife. Buenos Aires was born with its eyes looking toward Europe, and as a result, it displays a touch of Madrid and a touch of Paris. Some assert this ... more info

Give it a try!  by John    18th Mar 09
I'm American, live in Buenos Aires and love it here. It's a complex place, a real city, beautiful in so many ways. Most visitors don't give it enough time. One should!

Why Bs As  by Joseph    17th Sep 08
Buenos Aires is famous for the tango music, and our night is one of the best (just say the best) in the world, iI have visited almost 32 countries in different continent, start late in the night and finish after sunrise. Well, enjoy Palermo, San Telmo, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, or wherever you want in the downtown.

Maradona  by Emiliano    9th Sep 08
Not only fingerprints, cartoons, disposable syringes, ball pen and blood transfusion. Milk jam, omnibus, alpargatas sandals, soda water in siphons, cookie cakes and many more came out to light from inhabitants of this very land. We clam ourselves the best and the worst of many cultures such as Italian, Spanish, Irish, French, Polish, Jewish, native Gauchos and many more. Social interaction becomes very particular when comes to strangers, very enjoyable. We have good food and good wines as a common base, party all the time everywhere, specially if you know the right person in the right place.

Senor Tango  by Duda    29th Aug 08
If you're going to Buenos Aires, you should see "Senor Tango" this is the best Tango show I have seen. The show offers pick-up and drop-off from your hotel if you call ahead and make a reservation, you can watch the show with a couple of drinks or with a complete dinner. Check out the Senor Tango website: http://www.senortango.com.ar/
