You have to experience the fiords. I was just blown away. If you have to call Canada, go through Canada Direct. it is cheaper. I spent $172 on one, less than 5 minute, call. Then I discovered Canada Direct.

Stavanger (helpinfo) is a city and municipality in the county of Rogaland, Norway. Stavanger was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The rural municipalities of Hetland and Madla merged with Stavanger January 1, 1965.

Excellent food and wine. I had an excellent fillet of beef with vegetables and scalloped potatoes. Dessert was also very good.

A small picturesque town that revolves around oil. Nice nature, and really nice in the summer.
