If you are looking for somewhere cheap to visit then maybe this is not the first place you should come to. That said, I think you will be impressed. I have found Oslo to be a wonderful city, with plenty to do, and you will find lots of clean air, unlike many capital cities around the world. There cannot be many Capitals that have miles and miles of forest walks and cross country ski-runs right on the doorstep, conveniently served by the excellent public transport system. I expect to be here for some time yet, so if I can help anyone that plans to visit, please feel free to get in touch.

So You asking for things to do in Oslo. Well it depends on which part of the year you planed to visit Oslo. But anyway, you need to visit Holmenkollen - down hill and skipark where newly ski WM take place, the Vigeland sculpture park, the Kings castle, the old fortress Akershus, The smal icelands in the Oslo fiord / Fiord cruice. The forest near Oslo, Viking ships, Thor Heyerdals museum (an explorer who crossed the oceans in special boats) and a lots of other things. You also need to experience the atmosphere of the town, smal cafes and so on. |

I have been in Oslo for my job very often and I have spent a long weekend with my ex wife years ago. We enjoyed visiting the city and having fun in the evening, dancing all night. Coool city !
