The best city in Europe that I have been so far.Love it. The people speaks English fluently. I can even sense their passion towards life. Polite,well mannered and beautiful people.

Dus je praat geen nederlands? You dont speak dutch? what a pity but brought up in uk living in the states? Well you get around. I still am a dutchie But must say that its more easy to make and forfill plans in a small countrie then having to deal with so many different melting pots who have their own nececerties. Amsterdam is small city with so much to do. Ever since my first trip in 2007 I've become addicted and vowed to go every year,lol! its one of the friendliest European countries with a huge ethnic mix of people. so much to do here and so much to see, looking for a chilled out place to have a great holiday and you time- I'd defo recommend Amsterdam!

I agree with you 100%. There is nothing more relaxing than strolling through the waterways absorbing the unique atmosphere and stopping at a venue of your choosing. Fantastic!
