Hi friends...Sabah is definitely a must-visit destination for all avid travelers. We have best of both worlds...the gorgeous islands to the east and the magnificent Crocker Range to the west where the highest peak in South East Asia lies Mount Kinabalu. We boasts activities ranging from eco-nature, wildlife, adventure, cultural to diving. Looking forward to welcome all of you to the Land Below The Wind...cheers! Muriel

I have been to Mount Kinabalu in Sabah. Very Fun Trip and memorable places. People were friendly during my hiking day. The beautiful places will never regret.

I have been to several islands in Sabah, namely Mabul, Kenangan, Kayangan, Sipadan and many others. All the islands were so beautiful especially the fine sand beaches, the sky-clear water and the snorkeling part. No where of my limited experiences that I have seen such beauty especially the marine life, corals, fish and also turtles laying their eggs. The few European I met at Sipadan told me, that was the most beautiful island to him and he has been there for the fourth time already. If you go to Sabah, go for the islands. You will never regret!

What can i say about my hometown? Well, first of all - the people are really really great. I really like talking with the Kadazan people as their native accent is very, um how to say - interesting i guess. As for my own race, which is Bajau, the most interesting part is that they have an event called "Ngeduang" festive (during my childhood we always celebrate this festive but nowadays i rarely see this event) - it is where participants will put in various traditional and modern food and drinks into a box, and then bring it into a designated place. Then, after having a talk (Usually from Penghulu) and "doa Selamat", then the participants would choose other boxes randomly to bring back home. The participants also warned not to take back their own box as it will bring bad luck. I really miss this festive.
