I visit Penang almost every year and there is so many places to visit here and the food here in excellent! But driving here can be quite a challenge, you've got to be real alert and familiar with the roads too.

Penang is one of popular spot for tourist.It has many things to offer.There is one ever popular place for westerner call Batu Feringhi.Cheap bargain like handbag, t shirt,home décor you can get as cheap as RM10 as long as you know how to negotiate. As for food lover, foods establishment be it Western,Arab,Thai,Chinese,Malay can be seen everywhere.As for the price can be consider still cheap.

I spend three days in Penang.It is an Island and very close to Thailand.You can find some good sea food restaurents aroud the city.The landmark location is the hill station.The rail journey is very nice.Dont miss this place.

Penang is one of the most beautiful island in the world. Famous of its food around the corner in the island. Famous food must try such as Asam Laksa, char koay teow, hokkien mee, curry mee, wantan mee, satay, fried oyster, ais kacang, cendol, rojak, poh phia, koay teow th'ng, Penang white coffee and so on. Georgetown there are many guest house for your budget and they even use the heritage houses to be guest house or coffee house. Very nice. Famous temple kek lok si which located in air itam and also the cable car to the hill is called bukit bendera. There are many hotels located at the beach and that area is called Batu Ferringhi. Fresh seafood are available too.
