I went to Langkawi with family in 2003 for Christmas and stopped over in KL for 2 days. We went to see the Twin Towers and Genting Highlands. The view of KL from the top of the mountain was great and I remembered my daughter enjoyed quite a lot with the facilities there. We stayed at Melia KL. Not far from the hotel there is a place full with Chinese restaurants and the sea food there was just delicious. The climate was pleasant when we were there, not as hot as in Thailand, but as for shopping...
I am traveling to KL for a few days during mid May. Any friend want to catch you up, do let me know.
