Are there lots of box-jellyfish there? I´ve heard of them, and that they are sometimes in the waters around Langkawi. Does anyone know how big this problem is?
Is there only jellies there at certain times of the year?

Please help me.
I´m going there in November, and I don´t know if I dare to take a swim in the ocean... =(

hello Hanna, funny you should say this, I was water skiing and got stung alot when in sea. Doesnt hurt much more like stinging nettles without the bumps. You'll be fine and the island is beautiful

i will stay in berjaya resort, do you have any one of you any experince with this resort and do u adcie me to stay it

and also i will stay one night in the westin resort it has a good reputation but i dont know much about it

rent a car and drive around with lots of beer- they're so cheap!! take urself to all the spots and just laze around. Langkawi is'nt a place to hurry!!
