I was invited to meet my best friend for her office manager's wedding. It was a great time! The wedding was in a beautiful old catholic church on 5th Street. It was only a block from the beach. This was my first time in Playa and it was the most wonderful place I have been. I have been to Cozumel several times but Playa has a different feel. 5th St. is like walking down the heart of a quaint village. The people are so freindly. There are restaurants, live music, shopping, hotels and the beach all in one place. The atmosphere was relaxing and I enjoyed that feeling. It was a place I would go to again and again.

Yes, that is very romantic place and great choice for an Island Wedding or vacation no matter what your interests are. It is also a starting point for the tours to the ruins of Maya's civilization. great memories to make there! Enjoy!

What can i say.....I loved it :D
You have to visit the place....I was there for a week yet I felt like I never want to leave.The hotel was really great and the rooms were very comfortable :D
We had a great beach as part of the hotel. There is something for everybody - you can visit clubs in Cancun for no money or you can go diving or you can just make a tour and visit Tulum, Coba, Chichenitza and a lot of fun places :D
What more can I say - I do recommend it and I will go there again :)

is there anywhere nearby that does not have tourists, bars , hotels and people populated beaches, like a small villages where the locals live, quite little getaway places to rent with no tv, no wifi , no golf. no bars, just somehwre to chill out??, it all sounds rather like the rest of the world. been there done that got the r shirt now want to see and enjoy the real thing, amybe buy or hire a small moterbike and explore???
