rigth now in Monterrey its good place to bussines but its unsafe be carefuly and only on day at nigth will you go to the hotel...... be carefully ...

You have to visit, restaurant Rey del cabrito, Macro Plaza gardens, Paseo santa Lucia river, Also cola de caballo falls, Grutas e GArcia Caves, just to mention few tours

Don't carry a lot of cash on you, less to give up in case you get hit up for a bribe. Don't change money at the airport, the rates there are the worse. Bank of America doesn't charge service fees if you use a Santader, Serafin and Scotsa ATM machine. Go to your local bank to verify, it was like that two years ago when I was there. If you go out at night stick to touristy places.

While in Mty. stay one night, at least, at the hotel thats at the entrance to the hiking trails (chipinque). The bar is decent and they comp. your "toll" up there with your bar tab. The view is awesome. Wear some climbing boots and do the hike up to the 'M'. Alfa is a nice IMAX theater. Go to a Rayados or Tigeres game if you get a chance. It used to cost like 110 pesos for a random ticket, at least toa Rayados game.
