Paphos lies in the south west of the beautiful island of Cyprus in the north eastern corner of the Mediterranean Sea. To the North is Turkey and the East, Syria.

The temperature here is warm to roasting hot between May and October and for the rest of the year it is extremely mild with winter nights rarely dipping below 8 Celsius. The beaches around Paphos are very, very clean with crystal clear water and the temperature is great for swimming. In and around the immediate Paphos town I have found the beaches to be a bit rocky, so my personal favorite is to drive 5 to 10 minutes up to Coral Bay, where the beach is very sandy.

I am in Paphos now and looking for a guide. More than willing to pay for services.
Would like to see architectural, local history and do a little shopping.
Anyone know of a good hammam and a place of good meze in this area ? Thanks

visit the kingstomb and the old town of Paphos, when you into the sea be carefull, when there 're wave you have undercutting stream and its very strong even with wave not higher than 0.5m

Always travel with your own medication in your personal effects. Never put it in your luggage in case a long delay.
