Yolanda Ines Melendez 's tip about Bogotá, Colombia  (with reference to City Breaks, Attractions, History, Cosmetology, IT) 2nd Oct 2011

Bogota is the capital of my country Colombia. He has nearly nine million inhabitants and is a city with many opportunities. Among its attractions are the museums, parks, libraries and many major tourist sites. Also have several people very close with lots of history, natural beauty and cultural rights. It is a wonderful city. That's why I have my home

Bogota right now is competing with some of the more important cities in the world. It has everything a big city has to offer. Dinning, shopping, entertainment, culture, education, outdoors. One of the most important theater festivals is held in Bogot every April (Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro) and there are also numerous music festival, most of them free (check out Rock al Parque in October) And that's not all, even thought Bogota has a gray, cold weather and it's quite polluted, you can escape the busy and chaotic city life by just driving an hour or two to tropical paradises with warm weather and green landscapes.

is it dangerous? good place to eat? activities to do or places to visit....

Paul Thompson from Clemson, United States Paul
Not dangerous! Colombia is the safest country in Latin America (from my experience). That said, stay in "the north" (anywhere from "Chapinero" to "Zona Rosa"...further north to Parque 93 and Usaquen are incredibly nice--but expensive)...you will have a great time (and feel safe too!)
